# Marketplace Rules

> Rules for using the ACO marketplace safely and cleanly.

# DropNotify ACO Marketplace Rules

The marketplace is for completed, in-hand ACO items only. Do not post until your listing is ready with proof, pricing, and shipping details.

## 1. In-Hand Items Only

* Shipment must be complete and the seller must have the item in hand before posting.
* Do not list pending orders, confirmed orders, in-transit packages, label-created shipments, preorders, or expected allocations.
* If you cannot take a current photo of the item, do not post it yet.

## 2. Proof Is Required

* Every listing must include a clear photo of the item.
* The photo must include a handwritten note with your Discord name and the current date/time.
* Proof must be current and specific to that listing. Do not reuse old proof photos.
* Hide personal information, order numbers, addresses, payment details, and tracking numbers before posting.

## 3. At-Cost Pricing Only

* All marketplace sales must be at item cost plus ACO/PAS fees plus shipping.
* No markup, flipping, bidding wars, required tips, hidden fees, or profit pricing.
* Listings must clearly show item cost, ACO/PAS fee, shipping cost, and total price.

## 4. Protected Payments

* Payment should be sent through trusted vendors using Goods & Services or another protected payment option.
* Do not pressure members into Friends & Family, crypto, gift cards, cash apps without protection, or other risky payment methods.
* Buyers should verify proof, total price, and shipping terms before paying.

## 5. Shipping And Communication

* Sellers should ship within the agreed timeframe and provide tracking once available.
* Agree on shipping method, insurance, signature confirmation, and who covers any extra shipping cost before payment.
* Communicate clearly if there is a delay or issue.

## 6. Member-To-Member Risk

* Marketplace deals are between the buyer and seller.
* DropNotify, staff, and ACO runners are not liable for trades gone wrong, chargebacks, lost packages, carrier damage, scams, payment disputes, or failed deals.
* Staff may remove listings, restrict marketplace access, or take moderation action if a listing looks unsafe or violates these rules.
